The University of Milan in partnership with CSIL, Centre for Industrial Studies, is delighted to announce the organization of a 5 days summer school on:
„Cost-benefit Analysis of Investment projects.
EU Structural Funds, Cohesion Fund and Instrument of Pre-Accession„
to be held in ANNUNCIATA Congress Centre, Abbiategrasso, Milan, from 5 to 9 September 2011.
The school will focus on the ex ante appraisal (Cost Benefit Analysis) of investment projects asking for co-financing under EU Structural Funds, Cohesion Fund and Instrument for Pre-Accession. The school is designed for professionals and young researchers dealing with programme and project management of EU Funds and for decision makers of major projects, particularly in the fields of transport, environment, industry, energy and telecommunication, and other fields of intervention of the Structural Funds.
An interactive and practical approach will be used in addition to traditional training methods. More specifically, training activities will rely on the following methods:
* Face-to-face lectures (morning)
* Hands-on sessions – case studies (afternoon)
* Project experiences of the participants.
The summer school faculty will include experts from the team that contributed to the preparation of the EC „Guide to Cost Benefit Analysis of Investment Projects„:
